This policy explains what information Get Pet Art collects, how we use it, and your choices. In short: we collect only what we need to make and deliver your portrait, your pet photos are processed by trusted third-party image processing providers solely to create it, and we never sell your personal information.
Information we collect
- Pet photos you upload to create a portrait.
- Order details such as name, email, shipping address and the items you buy. Payment is processed by Shopify; we never see your full card number.
- Usage data such as pages visited, collected with cookies and, if enabled, Google Analytics.
How we use your pet photos
Photos are stored privately under random file names. To create your preview and portrait, your photo is processed by trusted third-party image processing providers on our behalf, including an automated safety check on uploaded photos. Previews are watermarked; the full-resolution file is kept privately. Photos are also shared with our print partner to fulfill your order. We do not use your photos for advertising or sell them.
Emails
If you ask us to email your preview, we use your address for that. We only send marketing emails if you tick the separate consent box, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our postal address, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act.

Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the store: Shopify (checkout), trusted third-party image processing providers (portrait creation and photo safety checks), our print partner (printing and shipping), hosting and analytics providers.
Analytics and advertising choices
Only after you accept, we may use Google Analytics and Meta to measure product views, cart additions and checkout starts. These events can include product identifiers, order value, browser information and cookie identifiers. Your pet photos and names are never included. You can decline or withdraw consent using Privacy choices; we respect Global Privacy Control.
Retention
Photos and previews you never add to a cart are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Photos and previews for items you add to your cart or order are kept for up to 12 months so we can produce your order and handle reprints, then deleted. If you give us your email for your preview, we keep it until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. You can ask us to delete any of this sooner.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email hello@getpetart.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your request and respond within 45 days.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
