Ordering
How do I order a custom pet portrait?
Pick a style, upload a photo of each pet and see an instant preview. Choose product and size, then order. Printed portraits go into production after purchase.
How many pets can be in one portrait?
Up to 4. Each extra pet adds $10, and you upload a separate photo of each pet.
Can I add my pet's name?
Yes. Every portrait has an optional name field (up to 24 characters, for example Max & Luna) and three fonts: Classic, Script and Modern. You see the name on your preview as you type, and it is printed exactly as spelled.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes. Add a free gift message in the cart. It is saved on your order so it can be included with the package.
Quality
How is my portrait made?
We transform your pet's photo into your chosen portrait style. Check the preview and personalization before ordering; printed portraits go into production after purchase using the full-resolution file.
What kind of photo works best?
A sharp close-up of your pet's face, taken at eye level in natural daylight, with both ears in the frame. See the pet photo guide for examples.
What happens to my photos?
Photos are stored privately under random file names and are shared with trusted third-party image processing providers only to create your portrait. They are never sold or used for advertising. See the privacy policy for details.
What if I don't like the print quality?
Personalized items are made just for you, so they can't be returned. If your item arrives damaged, or you are not happy with the print quality, we will reprint it or refund you.
Shipping & delivery
How long does shipping take?
Prints are produced in 2-5 business days, then ship in 3-7 business days within the US.
Is shipping free?
US shipping is free on orders over $75. Below that, shipping is calculated at checkout.
When will I get my digital download?
Digital files are delivered by email within 24 hours.
When is the Christmas order deadline?
Order prints by December 12, 2026 for US delivery before Christmas. Digital files can be ordered right up to Christmas Eve. The Hand-Painted Watercolor Pet Portrait takes 4-5 weeks to paint, so order it by November 4, 2026.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not yet. We currently ship to addresses in the United States only.
Returns
Can I return a personalized portrait?
Because every portrait is made just for you, personalized items can't be returned for change-of-mind. If anything is wrong, we'll make it right.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Email hello@getpetart.com within 30 days with your order number and a photo of the damage, and we will reprint it or refund you.
